The Toxicology Game

ANTIDOTE: noun,
A medicine taken or given to counteract a particular poison.

What you will need

This is a pairs matching game for small teams or individuals (it works better with teams to allow for some discussion).

Learning objective: correctly match poisons with their antidotes

The document we use is available here, you will need to print it out and then cut out the poisons and the antidotes.

How to play

  1. Teams of 3-4 works best, although they can be smaller.

  2. Each team is provided with an envelope containing the antidotes and another containing the poison or indication.

  3. The aim is to match the antidotes to their poison, one point is awarded for each correct match.

  4. Allow 20-30 minutes at least depending on the experience of your participants.
